Loughborough

Since the start of our relationship with WTY Group in 2005, they have helped us in three main areas.

  1. With our food and drink manufacturing NVQ’s - their input on this program has made our department the leading team in the college on all train to gain programs and many of the food and drink manufacturing candidates we have taken through the NVQ have been promoted within their companies.
  2. With our Hospitality and catering NVQ’s.
  3. With Basic Skills (English ESOL) which have given employees, for whom English is a second language, the opportunity to improve their communication skills and then go on to undertake and pass the NVQ.

WTY Group are the company who initially contact a client and introduce them to the qualifications that we can offer. If, after this meeting, the client would like to proceed with the training, Loughborough College and WTY Group produce a tailored training schedule along with the client. A client’s employees will be visited regularly at work by an assessor who is occupationally competent who will observe them in the workplace and advise them on how to gather evidence for their NVQ portfolio. They review progress with the client and employee and help them plan their learning with minimum disruption to the client’s business.

WTY Group and Loughborough College have successfully engaged, inspired, enthused and motivated staff in many leading manufacturing companies through a series of NVQ’s and workshops. These companies now have confident and well qualified staff delivering quality products.

We have been impressed with the high degree of accuracy and professionalism we have come to expect from WTY Group. From the initial introduction, presentations, resource materials and overall professionalism WTY Group always provide an excellent introduction to NVQ’s and Loughborough College.

WTY Group have proven to be one of the best companies we have ever invested in, enabling us to quickly and efficiently respond to client requests and they continue to drive our business forward in a highly competitive environment. We have no hesitation in recommending WTY Group.

WTY Group and Loughborough College can enable your employees to gain their first full NVQ qualification relevant to your business at level 1,2 or 3.

To whom it my concern:

Re: WTY Group – Gratitude and Appreciation

On Behalf of Gauteng Department of Education in South Africa, the e-Learning Directorate at Head Office would like to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to WTY Group for sponsorship that the department received for the e-Learning Provincial Showcase 2008.

It is through support of this nature that the Department would be able to meet its educational goals and contribute meaningfully towards improving the education of the children of the South.

We hope that this was not the end but the beginning of good functioning associations. We also wish that if such calls are made by our schools and district, your company will be able to support them with the necessary support.

Yours in education

Kind regards,

Carlsberg

In 2005, Carlsberg UK Ltd decided that it would like all of it’s brewery employees to obtain a work based qualification within Level 2 of the National Qualification Framework. We already ran a brewery specific qualification which involved attending a series of lectures and sitting a formal exam to finish. As many of our employees had not participated in this type of learning environment for many years and were not keen on the idea of doing so, we had to come up with an alternative.

Around this time John Lewis Jones [WTY Group Sales and Marketing Director] got in touch with us to discuss and training needs we might have and suggested we roll out an NVQ Programme as an alternative to our brewery based qualification. An NVQ Level 2 sits on the same band as our GCB/GCP qualification on the National Qualification Framework, and as it is a work based qualification it was readily taken up by our work force.

Working with John, we chose the NVQ Level 2 in Food and Drink Manufacture. John and his company did all of the hard work for us by putting is in touch with our provider, Loughborough College, and arranging all of the funding required. All Carlsberg UK Ltd had to do was provide employees to take part in the scheme.

Many thanks to John and his team for all their hard work and for the high level of service they provided to us.

National Autistic Society

We are a school for children with Autism and we have used ' WTY Group ' since early 2005. Initially we used their courses to train staff members who we enrolled on ECDL, this lead to some of our more able pupils taking their ECDL course, some of who very quickly completed all 7 modules and have moved on to BCS LEVEL 2 Coursework.

The service provided by WTY Group has always been prompt and professional and they have arranged for students to receive certificates for each module which positively motivates and rewards them. Staff and students have enjoyed working at their own speed and being able to access both at home and at school.

We will continue to use WTY Group for the future.

My name is Wayne Van Rensburg, I am one of the directors at Stonebridge Associated Colleges and Elearnuk. I can verify that we have resold WTY Group's courses for well over 5 years now, to thousands of students from all over the World.

In this time we have never had any complaints about the quality and quantity of the course materials, the course materials are regularly updated, and the course materials are easy to follow and understandable from the student's perspective.

The level of support we have received from all of the staff at WTY Group has been nothing short of exceptional, and we have no qualms whatsoever in offering ourselves as references and testimonies for this extremely professional organisation.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact me on the details below.

WTY Group were recommended to us by another college. After sitting down with them to discuss our requirements to assist train our students, we instantly realised that WTY Group have a wealth of knowledge and expertise within the educational field. Since appointing WTY Group, we find that, using their courses, we are able to train more students more effectively. Feedback from students is very good and knowledge retention is impressive.

Their products, service and support have comfortably matched our expectations and, as such, we would have no hesitation in recommending WTY Group as a provider of computer based training courses for educational establishments.

I am employed by North Warwickshire and Hinckley College (NWHC) as the Project Manager for Coventry and Warwickshire Employer Training Partnership (CWET).

NWHC is the lead partner for this project funded by the European Social Fund (ESF).

WTY Group worked in partnership with NWHC as a key part of the project to develop E-Learning solutions for Essential Skills and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). The result of this collaboration is Real Talk English and Real Talk Literacy.

During the development of the learning materials I found the Project Staff at WTY Group to be most professional in their attitude and dedicated to producing quality outputs. Coordinating the production of the materials, which include visual and audio on-line content, presented a substantial challenge. Throughout their work WTY Group demonstrated creativity in their approach to problem-solving and completed the work with competence. Due to their commendable work Real Talk English and Real Talk Literacy are products with which NWHC has been proud to be associated. I would have no hesitation in working collaboratively with WTY Group again in the future as a demonstration of my confidence in their abilities.
